For special-needs passengers 

Palanga airport began cooperate with Social Services Information Centre. They provide transportation and attendant services for the disabled, bedridden and only sitting patients.  Specialized car brings disabled, bedridden or only sitting passengers to terminal or other convenient airport locations. Also they greet disabled, bedridden and only sitting passengers who came to Palanga airport.

This service at the same time can use 3 disabled persons in wheelchairs or one bedridden passenger and 3-4 family members or other accompanying persons. The following services are available for disabled passenger and persons with medical injures (bedridden or sitting patients).

Services for the disabled and persons with reduced mobility at Palanga Airport are provided by the ground service company JSC "Orlaivių aptarnavimo agentūra".  

Please call in advance by phone +370 460 56400 or from special place at the airport and  JSC "Orlaivių aptarnavimo agentūra" shall help you:

  • shall accompany you to check-in
  • shall help you complete the procedure of baggage and passenger check-in
  • shall help you complete the procedures of aviation security control, customs and passport control
  • shall accompany you from inside the passenger terminal to you designated seat on the aircraft
  • shall give you other needful service.

After aircraft arrived in Palanga airport:

  • shall accompany you from your designated seat on the aircraft to inside the passenger terminal
  • shall help you reclaim your baggage
  • shall help you complete procedures of passports control and customs
  • shall accompany you from inside the terminal to parking area
  • shall give you other needful service.

The Regulation (EC) No 1107/006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the rights of disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility when travelling by air.
